Other Forms Of Life

(( "Altre Forme Di Vita" (M. Castoldi) (Bluvertigo) YouTube / Lyrics ))

A very clever man
he sat, put on his glasses
and then made a distinction
Between animal beings
And vegetable beings

In eighth grade I find out
that kingdoms, there are five
And that in turn they’re made of
extremely different genres and species

If the flowers did not exist, would you be able to imagine 'em?
If the fish did not exist, would you be able to imagine them?
In other areas of this universe
(It's easy to understand it)
There exist all the things and beings that I can’t yet imagine – it

is
in practice clear and obvious
That there exist some other forms of life

It’s
Virtually clear and obvious
That there exist some other forms of life

Today I woke up late
And now it all seems so strange to me
That we are the only beings
Generated by chance
This’s a little selfish
And not very imaginative
Perhaps a little Catholic
And very much not funny
Very presumptuous -- very much confining!

If there were actually no mushrooms, would you be able to imagine them?
If there existed no algae, would you be able to imagine them?

The stars that I am able to see
They are a very small percentage
There exists everything that I as yet am not able to imagine

It’s
Virtually clear and obvious
That there exist some other forms of life – it

Is
in practice clear and obvious
That there exist some other forms of life
